A positive note about State Tool and Die.  I placed an order for four C&O caboose conversion kits this past Sunday.  Today (Wednesday), the little parcel showed up at my mailbox, thought that was pretty fast service.

The conversion kits consist of two plastic sprues holding the parts and wire.  There was no flash and all the molding is clean and neat.  My plans to modify a caboose or two look to be fairly simple using these parts.

Besides the conversion kits, the parcel contained not only an invoice with "Thank You" at the bottom, but also a business card and a nice looking "click" style ball point pen. I was positively impressed with how quickly the parts were shipped, the clean quality of the parts and the advertising bling. 

With so many businesses not providing good quality customer service, my experience with State Tool & Die was an unexpected pleasant transaction.
