Do you any of you know if the plastic coal load is removable, and IF it is, are the interior slope sheets unfettered of additional weights?

Thanks for any input.

I seem to recall....

the plastic load was pressfit on kits, but had some sort of glue on the ready-to-run cars, been awhile....I remember a molded weight in the hopper bottoms, but it was many years and many beers ago....

Thanks Bill.

I have a line on some, and I would like the visual variety they would bring to the table, but they'll need to be able to run empty (and look okay doing so) as well as loaded.

Sounds like removing the load without scars on the shell and/or load would be iffy, and we're still stuck with not knowing what type of hopper cavity visual will be under them once removed.

I think I'd better pass.
