This is the ATSF train # 21, El Capitan, westbound, with passenger car switching at Union Station.  The train is led by an E1 A/B pair of engines with Soundtraxx Tsunami2 KN1 sound decoders installed. The 11 passenger cars in the consist are all standard height (not high level) lightweight cars and are a mix of Con-Cor, Walthers, and Kato. NOTE: The eastbound version, ATSF train # 22, was run as a high level passenger train (all Kato cars) and was posted earlier this year.

The 11 passenger cars in the consist are all standard height (not high level) lightweight cars and are a mix of Con-Cor, Walthers, and Kato. The E1 engine shells were designed and 3d printed by Robert Nunes and purchased on eBay. They were they painted in the Santa Fe Warbonnet scheme and decaled by Texas Trainworx. The engine shells fit on an Kato E8 engine chassis both the A and B units.
