This is a continuation of the Tulsa Union Depot project that I posted last week. Over the past several days, I have finished the bridge road surface to include all striping, sidewalks, concrete areas, and did an initial install of some street lights on each of the bridges.  The roofs were also installed on the upper section of the station.

The next tasks to be done include routing wiring for the street lights to a common area on each side, possibly adding some LED lighting on each floor of the station, adding some detail parts on the roofs, adding all of the concrete railings (some still need to be 3d printed), and lots of weathering to the entire structure. Additional work needs to be done on the passenger platforms within the station area on the layout before the structure can be re-installed back in its place.

Right now, the entire structure remains in about 6 separate sections so it will be manageable to move when it comes time for install on the layout.

Nicely done

Looks like the real structure, which is interesting architecturally. I look forward to your integration into your layout.

I enjoy the smell of melting plastic in the morning.  The Fake Model Railroader, subpar at best.

Thank you for your comments. It has been a fun project especially since I love passenger stations.

Very good work

.

Since I model in N scale, I particularly appreciate your work and his quality.

I follow each new project of your layout.

I can say because I'm a N scaler it's really amazing with a top notch quality.

I like this kind of station with a double level.

Some years ago, inspired by some picture of Rod Stewart layout, I ended with a similar project of a two level station.

Mine is a kitbash of two Vollmler Baden Baden station build on a deck with track running under.

The top level is nearly in the finished stage but the track floor level still need lot of work.

I could be quiet quickly finished since track of my Corinnesburgh station ( fictitious town) will be laid in this autumn.

Congrats any way.

Hi Marc,

Thank you for your comments.  I really like the kit bashed station that you built for your layout and I see that you are using both steam engines and heavyweight passenger cars. It should look very nice on your layout

I was originally going to do a kit bash of Union Station on my layout using two of the Walthers Union Station kits but I could not get it to look the way that I wanted (similar to KCUS). Since I had started working with 3d printing, I decided to go that route.
