In the mid-1970s Kennecott Bingham Canyon started testing diesel motive power at the mine, the old Electric motors had given them many years of great service, but now it was time to upgrade. Pictures from the Don Strack collection found at utahrails.net a special thanks to James Belmont for his wonderful pictures.
