It's another week . . . post 'em if you got 'em.  There were a few late-comers in last week's post.  Check them out, then come back here afterward.

Track

Phil. I love the track, ballast and surrounding area. Great job. You need some slight weathering on those hoppers. Excellent photo. Thanks for posting.

Phil.  Looking good!  Those ExactRail hoppers are on special this month so good deal.   I have 4 of the 6 numbers but ordered the one number I didn't have.   The first number was sold out but 5 should be enough!

Great work as usual

Neat projects everyone.   Here is some workbench pics.  For the JCs Riptrack contest he advertised here a few weeks ago. Its moving along pretty well.  The protoype was stored in Hillsdale, Michigan for several years.  For the model I started with an old Bachmann Spectrum unit. Thanks, for lookin, Steve

Thank you Morgan. Being searching the web for pics of said hoppers to weather. They range from mild to wild.

Here is a lumber load I completed. A big thank you goes out to fellow forum members and friends Tom Klimoski for the wood and the idea and Chris Burdette for the E Z Line and scale 2x4s.IMG_1770.JPG IMG_1771.JPG Jeff

What are the wood loads made of?

Jeff:

Are those lumber loads pieces of plywood?

Looks great by the way, but the time period is too new for my modeling choice. (Summer 1954)

Steve Model Truck - I have

Steve Model Truck - I have the same Bachmann CSX GP30, from when I was a kid!  Looking good on yours.

Numerous retailers have been blowing out their Bachmann Sound Value ES44AC and SD70ace inventory for under $100 each so I took a chance on an NS Interstate heritage ES44AC.

Been hankering to weather a loco so this became a “future leaser” unit after NS sells it. Had some Morrison Knudsen decals on hand that I thought would look good even though they’re defunct.  She still needs number boards too. Runs and sounds pretty good but emits strange audible electronic noise at idle with sound off.  Fun little project though.

Thanks K5

Thanks, I liked yours too.  I have bought a couple of those deep discount Bachmanns too. Can’t go wrong for the money.

Poetry in Motion

Look, my friends, and you shall see
Of the daytime runs of the Century;
I'm modeling the summer of 'sixty-nine,
Hardly a person remembers that time;
Of that wonderful period in history.
