TCS Decoder Help Locos and rolling stock

Hello MRH,

 

I recently installed a TCS WOWkit into my Athearn GP35. While everything seems to work okay and the sound does come out of the speaker, I have to prop up the decoder on the board for it to work. It seems a bit loose connecting to the board. Is there something I'm missing?

User Error

I was being too gentle and didn't push the decoder down until it clicked. Works perfectly now!

Ah, okay

Ah, okay. Bet you're not the first person to make that mistake, so having the details can be helpful to others who likewise may be a bit too reticent to give it a good press down.
