Wanted to make reference to a marvelous bit of modeling being recorded over on another forum.

Wow

Man, that looks good! I love the grime on the floor, the machinery in the background, and the general feel of it. This is a good reference. Thanks!

Nice

Something would be tough in O scale, but in HO? I'm impressed.

The only thing I noticed it's not even remotely dirty enough. It should grime on top of grime countless times over. And the belt fed machines look clean enough to eat off of. That's the only thing I noticed that looked 'off' to me.

I'm only bringing that up as I've walked in a lot of enginehouses and roundhouses, for both steam and diesel over the years and they always look like you'll get tetanus from just looking at things in there.

Well,

That, and you can still see. Most roundhouses were dark as could be, even in daytime. Would be curious to see how it looks if you dim the lights.

is amazing in how they grimed up everything and dimmed the lights, but this is also O scale.

Amazing bit of work.

So well implemented. I saw one early post where a guy said he should use a photo print for the floor to show pics.  Lol.

Thanks for the link.

This work is fabulous!  I was looking for details to add to mine, and this is an inspiration as well as lesson.

In Spite Of...
