I created a short video to show what I have been working on this spring.

Starting with a nice model of a 1966 Chevy Chevelle Wagon. Then weathering a car for the Athearn primed for Grime contest. ( I didn't win ) My current progress on a module for the Walthers NMRRBO. Some LED light strips are going up. Acquiring equipment to help produce a better quality YouTube live stream. An article published in the NMRA Magazine. Creating a clinic about RIP tracks for various NMRA -X and other conventions. Creating the Twin Cities Division new podcast called The Crossing Gate. It is available on most platforms, and now on iHeart Radio. Look us up and listen. We discuss various model railroading subjects.

Updates

Thomas - Your video is so polished and shows off your projects so well. I particularly liked the lighting issue and look forward to another update as you find the ideal solution.

Thank you Neil

I’ll take the polished comment with a grain of salt. I strive to improve. Hopefully better video work and audio.
Yes, the whole LED lighting for us regular guys thread has helped. I’m already looking at ways to lower the light bar in an efficient manner. I should fess up and say it took me three tries to get the brackets, pigtails and attachment in the position you see. I think a large part of being a happy and successful model railroader is knowing when you’ve made a mistake and then adjusting.

Thanks for the feedback.
