This is an update and continuation of the N-Scale 3D printed Tulsa (Elizabeth City on my layout) Union Depot project. The design was developed using photos of the station that were found on various sites on the internet. However, most of the available photos of the station, when it was in operation, are fairly limited in showing the complete structure, so some guesswork was used when using more current photos of the depot and the overhead roads. Everything was then modified to fit the available area allocated on the layout for the station and its surroundings.

This update is in two sections. The first section shows a review of the previous work from October 2020 while the second section shows all of the newly designed 3D printed parts used to build up the bridges & support structures required for the overhead roads and parking lots.

All of the 3D parts were printed using PLA on both a daVinci mini (station building) or on a daVinci 1.0 Pro (bridge sections and support structures).

NOTE: Today the Tulsa Union Depot has had some significant changes from what it used to look like during its time as a fulltime passenger station and is now the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.

Recycled stations

Its interesting how old stations are repurposed.  Tulsa is a basketball stadium, Houston is a baseball stadium, Texarkana is a prison, Reading Terminal in Phillie is a convention center.

Good looking modeling.

Cool model

It's a smaller station with a big-station feel. I like the art deco motif. Would have been fun to be there in its RR prime.  It is currently a museum devoted to Tulsa's jazz music heritage.

Tulsa Union Depot

Thank you for your comments.  The area where the station is located was originally just supposed to be an open storage staging area simulating the the southwest but it kind of evolved into the major terminal that it has become. Having the station has allowed me to run both the Oil Flyer and Tulsan passenger trains as well as a couple of freight trains.
