I am trying to find ho scale swimming figures for my river scene. I have tried Walthers but have been unable to fine the figures that are in the attached river scene photo. I am particularly interested with the person on the float. Any information would be appreciated.

That creek doesn't look deep enough to dive into. Looks like a couple of kids will die or be handicapped for life with broken necks!

The photos they have of their Firefly Houseboat kit (which I'm trying to figure out how I would include it on my layout) have a _lot_ of bathing suit clad figures, both male and female, on it.

Jeff, the text below the listing says the “figures, bottles, and beer cans” are not included, and doesn’t give a source for them. The website simply says “With the many options of figures available from a number of suppliers...”. Not very helpful. Sure would like to get some of those figures!

There is a mindset ...

Very nice scene, however, there is a mindset that frozen-in-time figures can look out-of-place on a layout with moving trains. This mindset says that static figures sitting and reading, or leaning against a wall, or head stuck under a car hood look more natural. Something to think about ...
