Aluminium load

Thank you Bob for sharing. I will try this, as I have - as probably all of us - accumulated a lot of scrap sprues and styrene over the years. To make it removable I will try a base piece of cardstock colored rusty with some ferrous nuts and discs attached under the scrap. Then it will be easier to remove the load with the help of a small magnet. All the best, mike.

Aluminum

If you're going to make an aluminum scrap load, paint that cardstock silver. Aluminum doesn't rust, it oxidizes to a silver dull gray color. Ferrous scrap (steel/iron) rusts to that brown orange color we all know and love. They're not going to ship a mixed load of aluminum and steel.
