I really like the variety and quality of the segments - but the search function is very frustating. I am trying to find the videos on brake rigging with pierre olover. I search “brakes” and it does  not come up.

TMTV search

You need to use the search correctly. After you type the search term in the box on the catalog page, you need to press the RETURN key on your keyboard. We spoke with someone recently who was having problems getting the search to work and it turned out they had not pressed the return key after typing in their search term!

Joe i know how to hit enter

Open search. Type “brakes” hit enter.  What comes up is a soundtraxx installation , not the videos featuring pierre oliver on brake installations.

Search function needs more flexibility

Search “brakes” with an “s” get soundrraxx install. Drop the “s” and found the oliver segments.

Little-known search hack

You can use Google's powerful search engine to search just the TrainMasters TV website with this hack:

brakes site:trainmasters.tv

Put in your search term and then add site:trainmasters.tv to the end. Once the search results come back, select the video tab to get a listing of all the videos with anything even remotely resembling "brakes" in the title or description.

Hmmm.

I suspect we could tag videos on TMTV better. I just searched (using the above box) on Pierre Oliver and the brake rigging Notch 8 episodes were not in the results.
