On checking I was pleasantly surprised to see that the individual C&A blog segments total just short of half a million reads and well over 3000 comments

With Christmas fast approaching and the C&A also close on 10 years from conception I thought I would make a quick (4 minute) slide show of images very much in a random order:

Lily

Thanks very much Dave and Chuck and seasons greetings

Lily the doodlebug got her name later on (and still is Lily), but since the photos are not in any particular sequence it may be one taken before she was "Lily-fied"

Merry Christmas!

It’s amazing how time flies! I have been at work on mine even longer, with probably less to show for it! But in the end it doesn’t matter it’s the journey that counts.

I must say that you are able to get a lot of excellent photos from what is a relatively small layout. Something I need to get better at taking photos.

You've got one...

...fine looking railroad there! I hope that I accomplish half as much in the same 10 year period on my SP Lordsburg Sub.

I've got a ways to go. Sigh.......

A Nice Recap

This is a nice recap of what you've done over the years, Rob.  It's like seeing old friends again, with many familiar scenes.

Rob

That is a most excellent video tour of your layout and modeling efforts - well done!  Your modeling is so inspiring!

Question:  the sound track - who is that (what group)?

Thanks,

Best Wishes for Christmas!

Thanks for taking the time to put together the slide show of the C&A.  It really shows how well you have integrated the variety of scenes and equipment on the entire layout into a single, highly realistic environment with a consistent theme/appearance throughout.  Great job, something to be very proud of and hopefully the layout will provide you with many more happy hours of finishing off, further detailing and operations!

Very nice as usual

Excellent work my friend. Such a great accomplishment so far with more to come. The Blackwater and Blue Ridge is about six years in and a smaller railroad than yours so I hope I'm where you are in four more years!

Has anyone heard anything from Rob lately?  I noticed that his website has been taken down.
