The 'structions on the side of the Woodland Scenics Realistic Water package state that it should be poured in depths of no more than 1/8" at a time and that no more than 3 layers (i.e. 3/8" total) should be poured.

I've only ever used it in small amounts in gulleys and ditches.

Anybody ever used more than 3/8"?

What happened?

Did the world end?

I am dying to know...

Me too (chuckle)

Wow ... I'd like to know, too!

DID the world end when you used more than 3/8" of this stuff?

It turned cloudy for a few

It turned cloudy for a few weeks but cleared up before I got around to taking it out.  It has looked good since but don't set anything on it or it will eventually sink.  I ended up pouring at least 1/2 inch.  Photos here:

Looking forward to photos,

Looking forward to photos, Craig.

Marc, don't hate me because my models are beautiful.  (Sorry, I even though I couldn't stand that ad, I couldn't resist).  I had lots of help with the trees, my friend Peter made them.  I'm glad you enjoyed the photos as much as I enjoyed making them.  The truss bridge is Walthers with a scratchbuilt walkway.  The plate girder is Micro Engineering.  The abutments are 20lb polyurathane foam from when I worked as an architectural model maker.  I find model photos much easier than proto photos.

The pickle is on a car that is supposed to carry a 737 fuselage (that has been in process for almost 4 years now).  I need to update that page as I have made a little progress.

The closest relationship with Jerry is my brother-in-law went to high school in Seattle with his nephew.  They graduated 2 years ago.

Paul, don't be so modest. After all Gerry  is a friend of Laura's.  I just love snooping thru web sites.

Paul, did you take the module outside to photograph it?

Please tell me that backdrop is an actual photo.  If you are able to paint a backdrop that realistic with that much detail and a sky with clouds like that, I hate you! LOL
