The RE subscriber renewal says its a 12 issue subscription that starts Nov 2020.  If my current subscription ends Mar 2021, does this renewal extend it for a year, until Mar 2022 or just until Nov 2021?

This is a replacement

This is a replacement subscription and the pricing tries to take into account what you’ve paid already. Notice: Standard 24+12 deal $29.99 Upgrade: Pricing depends on when your sub started. Any sub that started from January 2020 or later, $9.99 Any sub that started from July 2019 - December 2019, $5.99 Any sub June 2019 or before: Free upgrade In all cases, this give you 36 issues total. First 24 issues, plus the next 12 starting with November. What your current sub start and end date are only establishes the upgrade price. Your upgraded sub is 24+12, starting with Nov 2020 issue.

Still not quite sure what the offer is.

I am a current subscriber, so I already have all the back issues.  The only part that affects me is the future subscription part.

Are you offering a prorated extension of my subscription from whenever my current subscription expires (Mar 2020) to Nov 2020 based on a $9.99 annual renewal subscription?   In my case that would be 8 issues or $6.66?

If you already have all the back issues, then you are eligible for a free upgrade, no charge. You would start with the Nov issue and your old subscription would be replaced.

Charges

So if its free, how come when I click on the links, it says its going to charge me $9.99?

Why are you "replacing" my subscription?  Are you just trying to get everybody's subscription to start and end in November?

Links don’t do a Lookup

Hey, that’s some pretty complicated link programming you’re expecting ... we would need the link to be able discern who you are somehow either with a login or via a tracking cookie, then it would need to go look you up in SendOwl's database. All that fancy programming = $$$$ like 4 digits worth just to run a simple sale.

We plan to give you the free upgrade once we move to the new re.mrhmag.com website, if you’re eligible. Otherwise, if you already have most back issues, just ignore the upgrade, it’s not for you.

Not particularly. For those who already have most of the back issues, then the upgrade really isn’t for you, so best to just ignore it.

But we plan to eventually make our standard sub give you 24 back issues that you can either read online or download. It will be at re.mrhmag.com. This is a first step.

Joe,

Sorry to add to the confusion, but my sub started on Nov/18 and I auto renew, so my price was $19.99. Is that correct and is that for all the back issues which I thought I already had access to?

Thanks,

Clear as Mud

I have to say, this is as clear as mud to me.  Is this promotion aimed at getting new subscribers only?

I just checked and my RE subscription will have to be renewed right now if I'm to get the November 2020 issue.  I've been a RE subscriber since the first issue.  Does this deal affect me in any way, or am I simply going to renew for another year (I'm also a TMTV member)?

Should I be getting a renewal email?

I have subscribed to RE since the first issue .and a couple of years to TMTV.

Depends on when you originally subscribed, no change otherwise

Regular subs will continue as normal. No change. New subscribers get this deal with access to all back issues. Existing subscribers who don’t have access to all these issues can upgrade for a price — we sent you an email with your upgrade price, be it $9.99 or $5.99 depending how far back you originally subscribed. If you didn’t get an upgrade email, then sit tight, nothing changes for you. If you don’t take the upgrade deal in the email you received, then again, nothing changes. If you did get the upgrade email and you opt to take it, the upgrade replaces your existing sub with all 24 back issues and 12 new issues. That’s about it. If you got the upgrade email with your upgrade price, decide if you want it or not. If you got no email, then no upgrade for you because you have most of the issues already. We might have missed a few of you, so in that case, just ask and we will see if you’re eligible for the upgrade and at what price.

Offer

Although I still don't understand what the promotion really is, I went ahead and signed up for it and MRH billed me for $9.99.   Like you I already have the back issues so there isn't any "upgrade".

I figure the worst case is I get 12 issues from Nov 2020, which duplicates my existing subscription through March, but means I get 7 or 8 more issues to Nov 21, for $10.  Still cheaper than the regular subscription.

Best case is it extends my subscription for 12 issues (24+12) and I'm good until 3/22 for $10.

Besterest  case is that I get my subscription extended to some point in the future, which could be 11/21 or 3/22 and what Joe told me a couple posts previously is true, that its "free" and MRH refunds my $9.99.  Not holding my breath on that one.

I`m sorry for being dense...but...I got the upgrade email but I have been an RE subscriber since day 1. Is this my "time to renew email or is one coming? I usually renew RE and TMTV at the same time.

Same here

My RE subscription ran out with the October issue, so need to renew for November.  No place to do that on the sendowl page, and no renewal notice received.  Been an RE subscriber from day 1, so don’t need prior issues.  How do I renew starting with November RE?

Paypal automatic payment no longer active...

I've also been a subscriber from day 1, and have had no renewal info.

I did however get a mail from PP today saying my automatic reneval payments are no longer active and to contact MRH for details to reactivate it...

So how do I proceed from there?

EDIT:

As I wrote this I recieved a mail from MRH Media saying my subcription have been cancelled.
There was a link in the mail to a subscription management page at Sendowl where it says I can reactivate, but there's no such option on that page...

So the question remains, how do I reactivate my subscription?

Cheers!

Need to Renew - Where?

Like Tim and John above, I see that I need to renew to start receiving RE magazine again.  My subscription expired with the Oct 2020 issue.  I've been a subscriber since day one, so don't need the back issues.  I'm also a TMTV member.  I don't see a way to renew on the MRH site, TMTV site or SendOwl site.

I've received no emails about RE for the last couple months, and no notice for renewal (I simply counted my issues to deduce that I needed to renew).

So what's my next move?

Jeff: JC, Check your email.

Subscription info

How do I find out when my "replacement" subscription expires?  The old link had a thing you could click on to find out, the new link you sent me does not.

I Am Confused...

My RE subscription appears to have ended with the October 2020 issue.  Where do I got to pay up for the next 12 months???

I thought I remembered getting an email reminder last year -- none this year.

I stumbled around the site and wound up on a screen that wanted me to set up a new password for my new account.  I already have a username and password for the MRH site.  So canceled that screen.

What do I need to do?

Thanks

Jeff: Darn good question! I don't know why, but your subscription appears to have gone into extra innings, with 13 issues up there for you now. You should be getting auto-renewed within a week.

RE reminder emails going out tomorrow

RE reminder emails going out tomorrow, we will post here once we've sent them. If you don't get one (email goes to spam, junk, or into the same black hole some ballots seem to have gone into ...) then let us know on here and we'll get you a link!

Don't Get It

Was  MRH taken over by the overly helpful IRS. I don't get this.  I sent an email two days ago, left VM today, no response. My subscription runs out December. Frankly, not getting much out of it and may not renew. Just want November and December that I have paid for. Did not get reminder email mentioned above.

Jeff: Your subscription is set to auto-renew at the beginning of January. If you wish to cancel your autho-renew, just go to the link at the top of your download page to do it. I don't get the VM's, but how were you emailing us? I have not seen any from you.

I'll look for an email. I

I'll look for an email. I think I've been a subscriber since the beginning.

MRH: You should not need to wait for an email, if you have your download page link bookmarked, the link is resusable, just visit it each month and your new issue will be at the top of the list. Did you bookmark your link as we recommended?

Where is My November Issue.?

Jeff,

Yout answer did not match my question, so let me try again. I have a subscription through December. When I open my page it stops at October, November is not there.

MRH: Our bad, we missed adding Nov to one of the subs, check, it should be there now!
