Good episode, problem at 14:24?

Good episode Joe.  I have the run like a dream books and have read them, but watching this motivated me to go reconsider a particular spot with a turnout on an easement that didn’t seem workable without custom trackwork.  I’ll mock it up and see if it works out OK in practice.

When I play the episode in the browser it repeatably freezes at 14:24 (“Looking at the diagram, you can see TS”... frozen every time).  Picking it up a little after that plays a bit and freezes.  If I download the video though I can play it all the way through no problem.  This is on an iPad of reasonably recent vintage with the latest iOS 13.6.1.

Use the TMTV app

Ken, on an iPad, we recommend you use the TrainMasters TV app, not the browser.

Just search for TrainMasters on the Apple App store, it's free. And it's specifically designed for an iPad or iPhone. Any time an iPad owner has reported a browser playback problem to us, the app fixes it.

So on a mobile device, ditch the browser and use the app. Just use the browser to maintain your account using the Dashboard link. Otherwise, use the app.

I’d forgotten there was an app, thanks Joe.  The playback only freezes in the browser when using the player on the tmtv page - if I hit the download button there and just let it stream into a new browser window so it uses the built in ios player, that works fine. I figured that out when watching the previous run like a dream episode later last night.  I’ll still look for the app though.  Thanks!
