As we prepare for the next run of ProtoThrottle faceplates, we are considering another special run color. Would anyone be interested in an olive green faceplate? The photos below show how this olive green color would look relative to the standard grey/blue faceplates, in some different lighting conditions. We will still keep the standard grey/blue and probably do another set of black plates.  These would be in addition to that.

Please let us know your thoughts, either way.

Thanks,
Michael

Olive green for some variety

Olive green might be interesting for some variety, but I wouldn’t run too many. Gray and black are very nice already. Any thought of selling different colored plates separately? I can see if you have more than one PT ... hey Jim, why don’t you take the green one?

Cool color but from what I've

Cool color but from what I've heard and read so far I would buy one even if it was pink, hope to be able to purchase one soon.

Purchase Separately?

Absolutely.  We do have some plates available for purchase here:

https://www.iascaled.com/store/ACC-CSTPLATE

If you want a swap, we recommend sending the throttle in to us so we can make sure it is properly recalibrated to the new plate.  Although tolerances are pretty good, sometimes the calibration just needs a slight tweak.  If the original plate is in good condition, we'll credit back some of the cost, based on condition.

Right now, only the grey/blue and black are available but other colors, like the olive green, may be added in the future.  We also have some "scratch and dents" available for a discount - contact us for details - if you want to take a stab at making your own weathered throttle.

We welcome any color suggestions for the future:
