I want to make some backdrop buildings by gluing photos of buildings to foam board, I have a few photos of buildings that I've taken squared to the building, but I wondered if there is a collection of high resolution photos somewhere that can be used to this.

Thanks,

Building Photos

Chris     Here is what I did for a few of my background buildings. I have quite a few older Walthers catalogs

that have some realy nice larger pictures of their buildings. I took them and had some real good

color photo copies made then cut them out and then mounted them on real heavy card stock which

worked ok but shuold have put them on thin foam board. O by the way these photos were enlarged

to HO scale. With other models of their buildings in front of then they really look great. Add a

little landscaping and other things it really pulls it all together. All this is just one way to do what

your trying to do.        ron netti

Evans Designs Software

 Hi Chris,

I use Model Builder by Evans Designs. You can model in many scales and save you work. I also add real windows/doors from Tichy Train Group and Plastruct.

They make easy to use lighting products too!

It's always a great day at Dannyboy's Pub. Great Music, Fine Beverages, and home of the Michiana Southern Railroad.

Photo edit software

I use Photo Brush 5 because has a tool to correct perspective and distortion and Paint.net for everything else. IIRC they are free or very cheap. Work great also.
