Rapido's Latest Passenger Car: The New Haven Diner

The gang at Rapido keeps raising the bar in the passenger car department! The latest arrival are the New Haven, Pullman-built, stainless-clad diners. I thought I'd post a few photos to share with others:

This is the first "off-the-shelf" diner I've ever seen with place settings beautifully represented. Clear water pitchers are supplied for user installation.

I'm going to have to sell a kidney to afford enough hungry travelers to warm those seats!

Much thanks goes to the New Haven Historical Society which, I believe, provided tons of information on these cars.

So far I've gathered a nice representation of a decent New Haven train. Hopefully the Rapido team will be offering a Baggage-Lounge car and perhaps the Observation-Lounge cars (with and without the diaphragm at the rear?)  We can only hope!

Cool

Thanks for the photos Ed. You have to love the detail on these cars, even place settings in the diners. I don't even model in HO and am tempted by these cars. Kudos to Rapido!
