How current members take advantage of the sale

With the new site, we made a business decision to more tightly control the renewal process -- this was a necessity if we were to start allowing Roku, Apple TV, and mobile app paid access. This means you cannot manually renew, you simply authorize us to bill you and we will auto-renew you on your anniversary date. That said, we understand existing members' desire to take advantage of the new year 20% discount special. Just use the contact us form and request we apply the discount to your next billing. We will apply the discount as requested and it will become the price of your next auto billing. In short, it's on request -- and the request must be made during the sale. P.S. If you don't like auto-renew, then just go to Dashboard> Billing and remove your credit card. Next billing will fail and your account will automatically be closed after a couple retries.
