Please could you tell me how to embed a you-tube video into a blog entry. I tried recently but it did not work. RSieler kindly embedded it for me.

I wrote my blog on a MacBook Pro computer. I clicked on the embed media icon, pasted the link to the you-tube video then clicked OK. All I got was a link in the blog entry that did nothing.

You need to copy the embed code from YouTube

Nope, that won't do anything. You need to go to YouTube, select share, then copy the embed code. Using the embed media button in the editor here, paste the embed code into the dialog box and save it.

That will embed the video into your post. The instructions Ken Rice pointed to step you through the process.
