PS4785

Will you ever release the gray Penn Central PS4785 in the Rivet Counter line?  You released it only in the Operator Series and I never got one.  I didn't even know they were being release but can't understand why you didn't release them in the Rivet Counter Series.  Makes no sense to me.  I mean you did in the PC green scheme.  Thanks!

Rebar load

Does anybody has an idea how to make a rebar load for the finger racks?

Good question about the

Good question about the finger rack flat cars.  Loads are an important modeling part of freight cars that have open decks.

Since quoting other people is either frowned upon or against the rules, I'll summarize in my own words some related information about these finger rack flat cars.  Reportedly 150 were built in 1970 and all delivered in TT brown; very few being seen in yellow TT paint before 1980.  These cars were apparently all dedicated to re-bar service out of Steelton PA and tended to stay on the east coast, rarely, if ever seen west of Oklahoma.  There may have been other freight cars dedicated to re-bar serivce manufactured out west.

I plan to get at least one of the brown cars for my D&RGW bridge route operations - it seems nearly anything crossed the Rockies and Utah desert.
