I am pleased to announce my first full HO scale kit, Kowalski & Smith Welding Co.  I will be making only 200 of these kits so that they won't be on every layout.

t_ad_004.jpg My philosophy of kit production is this: the kits should look difficult to build but be easy.  As the designer, my job is to take care of the headaches so that you can enjoy building and finishing the model.

Kowalski & Smith is my first full HO scale kit.  Two Masonite bases act both as foundations and as jigs to hold parts plumb and square.  Laser cut interior bracing holds the upper story in place.  Rafter tails look like they go through the walls because they do.  The Tichy windows come with laser cut glazing for a realistic shine.  Posts slot into the base and remain plumb without the need of extra hand growth on your part.  A series of jigs makes cutting rafters, beams, & posts a snap. The directions include line drawings for each step and clearly written explanations.

Looks good. To bad it's no available in N-Scale. I would be sorely tempted to buy it so long as it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

I looked at the site.

They are not priced like an old Atlas kit, but they are really quite reasonable compared with other craftsman kits I've seen.
