A dedicated track maintenance train was created using three (3) spare N-Scale Kato F units.  The original paint scheme on the engine shells was stripped using 91% alcohol.  They were then sprayed with a light gray paint to give them the MOW scheme look. Custom ATSF Paradigm Division decals were created using Apple's Keynote (PowerPoint equivalent) and printed on Testor's Decal Paper. Two of the engines (F3A & F3B) have Aztec modified frames with hardwired Digitrax DZ126 decoders.  The other F3B has a drop-in Digitrax DN163K0B decoder.  There are two Aztec & one Roco cleaning cars in the train. The freight cars will not be repainted as they can be placed in trains. (NOTE: Sadly, Aztec ceased operation back in December 2018).

Nice video

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the maintenance train and the snippets of layout under construction. Nice work! I hope the police and insurance adjusters weren’t overwhelmed by the rash of automobile accidents!

Accidents Do Happen

Thanks for your comments & humor.  The insurance adjusters are N-Scale so the costs are much lower than HO......
