CARY makes nice USRA light and heavy boilers for Mantua/Tyco Mikes and Pacifics. Is there any difference in them or will either fit the other mechanism? I'm not sure but I always thought the drill pattern for the mounts was the same.

Thanks,

For the first time I managed to get that site to open for me. It's always been a bust!

The answer is YES and NO! It says they are drilled for each mechanism as they are different and another place says they are the same.  Reminds me of when  I was working and asking my Stupidvisor something. lol

Thanks,

Cary Boilers

I have used the Cary boiler in several applications.  They are drilled to fit the Mantua (TYCO) Mikado or Pacific frame.  Both have the same spacing.

I have also mounted a Cary boiler to a Bowser Mikado brass frame by fabricating and soldering in place a bracket across the frame below the cab.

I'll be glad to provide pictures if anyone is interested.
