The first video shows the support structure that was added for the second phase of scenery work around the east helix at Union Station.  This structure provides a good gluing surface for the addition of the remaining 3D printed concrete retaining wall panels to fully enclose the double tracks of the helix going into and coming from the Union Station passenger/freight yard.  Then the two buildings representing the power plants (Walther's kits) for the Union Station complex are shown and both have received their initial paint and decals.  The plant decals (using Testor's decal paper) were made using some pictures found on the internet and modified to fit N-scale.  I am leaving a little room for the addition of an electrical substation next to the taller power plant (ordered a Tomix kit that is coming from Japan). Finally, there is an overview of the newly painted & decaled Mopac E7B (Lifelike shell on a Kato E8 body with Digitrax decoder installed) that will run as a consist with a Mopac Broadway Limited E8A.

The second video shows the addition of the remainder of the concrete panels and railings along the top of the East Helix going to & from Union Station.  I plan to use poly-fill to fill in the open area between the concrete panels and the edge of the spline helix. This will provide a base for adding grass, shrubs, etc.  The final portion of the video shows the 3/16 inch thick 3D printed flat background building that represents the US Post Office that was adjacent to KCUS and just behind the REA Express facility.  More to come in the future.
