Update on my Work-In-Progress, VIA Rail F40PH-2 in N Scale, in the early small Canadian Flag scheme. 3%5B1%5D.JPG 

Today I was able to complete several stages including masking and airbrushing the black areas of the roof, nose and bottom of the Kato shell.

5%5B1%5D.JPG  I applied several light coats of black acrylic paint by airbrush so as not to fill in the roof details.

4%5B1%5D.JPG Using an oily-black wash, I highlighted the vents and grills.

Next step will be an overall gloss coat and decals. 

Will keep you posted as the project progresses.

Coming along nicely for mini me scale. Like the looks of this unit
