The background buildings along the east approach into Union Station have been completed (painted, signs added, & put in place).  They were originally shown in yellow 3D printed PLA in my 16 November 2018 MRH Blog. All of the printed buildings are from 3/8" to 1/2" thick not including any roof molding overhang or vertical/horizontal concrete strips.

To put the buildings in their place along the wall (without glue since they still need some weathering), I used some of those "command 2-sided strips" (recommended by my wife) that are used to put up pictures & then can be removed by simply pulling on them without damaging the wall.

Other than the first building along the front edge (Consolidated Plumbing Supply), all of the other buildings and accessories were 3D printed with PLA on a daVinci mini.  The signage on the buildings is a mix of decals made using Testor's Decal paper while others use printed paper signs.

The follow-on project is some 3D designed & printed 1/8" thick background buildings for the wall behind Union Station.  The 3D printed concrete retaining wall all along the back wall has a foam board backing that will permit a thin building to be placed in that area.  More to come in the future.
