Hi all.

Long time no posting here.

Just wanted to show you my latest attempts at weathring my locos, while getting back to the hobby (just got divorced, new marriage, ba bla bla, in less than a year...)

All of this was done using just Pan Pastels, oil paints, and the videos form Mike Confalone, on TMTV. Made them both live, on my Youtube channel.

And an ALCO CP 1331 (uses ALCO 251, based on prototype model DL-535)

Looks good

Looks good. Weathering has become one of my favorite things to do. I weather EVERYTHING! It adds a realistic look plus tones down some of the glaring aspects of model and brings out others. I use just a light dusting of charcoal or a black wash to bring things out. Sometimes Pan Pastels, Bragdon powders, oils whatever works. I've been through the divorce thing, know how that goes, it sucks.....but it gets much better as time goes on. I'm glad I had a hobby to help get through it. LIFE IS GOOD! Hang in there
