Sometimes..

Sometimes one just has to have an F unit. And having an older Athearn just makes upgrading that much more fun.  This old blue box got just that.. some details, LED light and a Loksound decoder. With the motor and gears tuned and such.. it runs and sounds great. As for weathering,(oils and pan pastels), the same as would be used for so called 'rust buckets'.. just not as much for a lighter look.. Any ways..
