Ron Ventura Notace

I was doing a search today, and this photo popped up in the Google results. This was an early photo from Rob's Cornhill and Atherton blog. Note that it was just a small image on the results and was shown completely out of context. At first glance I thought someone had worked out how to run trains upside down on the ceiling. Imagine my disappointment when it turned out to be framing for a valance.

It could still be inspiration.

It’s possible...

Lenz a few years back was demoing a product which I believe had magnetic wheels running on ferous track - the demo layout was vertical.  With the easy availability of super magnets these days it seems like it should be possible to make your trains run on the ceiling.  Live loads might be tricky though.

T-scale will run up-side down

T-scale will run up-side down as the wheels are magnetize , I've done it at shows with mine.
