Any ideas for modeling a SW1001 in HO? Reading had a bunch of these beasts, and there's no model available.

My first thought was to start with an Athearn SW1000. Simply chop the cab down, and ignore the difference in the walkway height. I also considered melding an Athearn SW1000 long hood with a P2K SW1200 frame and cab.

Any others?

Is it me?

Or does that shell look like an N-scale loco? Also, I thought I was seeing things, but those are two different trucks. Just sayin'.......

Hmm your right!

Yes the trucks do appear to be different!  I am wondering if this is a photo of the N scale version!
