Charles is one of our newest sponsors ...

Do check out these ferns ... Charles is one of our newest sponsors. We will be posting his sponsor logo soon!

Ferns are the one new frontier in model scenery that is yet to be tapped. It's good to see Charles working to offer ferns as a scenery product. From the conversations I've had with Charles, I think he's got a number of innovative new scenery products in his product line.

Primary undergrowth of the Pacific Northwest...

My wife won't let me plant the real thing around the house, but I'm pretty sure I'll be needing some eventually for my layout!

Perfect!

Those look pretty nice! Laser cut? Perfect for the area I'm modeling.

Boston Fern ?

O.K., I'll bite - is there a place where I can view what Charles is offering (other than his nice picture)? I could not find a URL buried somewhere and the MRH home page sponsor list does not show something for him.

Git it - The pic is the link

Thanks, Joe (I presume you were the one to change the action on the pic). So, it is HJTrains - O.K. - for those that have not seen it yet, the MRH Theatre includes a video of an interview with Charles - the video prompted me to visit the HJ Trains Store and check out the armatures for deciduous trees. Great interview, great products (conifers, deciduous, ground cover, plaster cloth, et al). Charles has not put the ferns on the web site yet, unless they are hidden somewhere. My answer is yes, when kept well watered and in the shade in arid regions, from my experience in So Cal, the ferns would add some variety to the scenery - I am interested in possibly getting some.

Oh, I almost forgot - HJ Trains Store also sells a conifer making machine (bottle brush style) - check it out.

Looks like he is/was/used to

Looks like he is/was/used to be part of Vendio Ecommerce.  All links I found to HJTRAINS  end on Vendio. My guess is he is moving his WEB presence somewhere else or Vendio has a problem.
