Dear MRHers, Just shouting out, does anyone have a current contact or status for member "PQE" / "Pelsea"? I've tried contacting via the Profile "Contact" tab repeatedly, but have had no response... Hope PQE's OK... Many Thanks and Happy Modelling, Aim to Improve, Prof Klyzlr

I was wondering myself

I noticed he hasn't posted for a while and wondered if it's just the summer non-railroading season or something else.  Hopefully he's just taking a break.

Still Here....

Been a bit under the weather, but mostly working on an ambitious music project. I still check in daily.

p.s. It’s nice to be noticed.

Glad to hear it

While I check in a few times a day, I'm not reading most threads like I used to, so I must have missed your recent post.  I do check any threads you've started, though, if I see them in recent posts.

p.s. The contact thing can be buggy or get caught in spam filters.

assistance?

I have several questions about your servo driver circuit as I have built 2 and have problems with them. Is there any way we can contact directly?

Thanks

Dan

Forum email contact is currently shut down.

Hi Dan/Dave/Prof

The contact method using the user profile on this old version of the forum has been shut down for a while because it doesn't work and it also creates other problems inside the forum software.

Not sure how you get around it without posting your email address directly in the forum message? The new version of the forum should fix this member contact problem but it looks like it is still some weeks away.

The messaging facility looks like it is working on the new forum  this may be a way forward in the interim -  any new messages appear as a number on the envelope in the menu bar at top right.

To get started - Use search to find the member you want to contact. Click the envelope in the member's profile, This opens a new window,  type and then send your message.

Some significant caveats:

1 - You would all have to be watching the new forum periodically to pick up any new messages.  They won't appear or be notified to this current forum. But it is a way around the current roadblocks

2 - there is another trial upload planned soon - this would delete any messages sent between now and when the next upload happens.

You can also submit an MRH ticket

You can also submit an MRH ticket and in the comments provide the MRH user handle of the person and we will email them that you're wanting to get in touch. It will be up to them to contact you -- if they don't want to connect, then that's their choice. Just select MRH Forum as the product and give us their user handle, then we will do the rest. https://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/mrh-support-request
