Dear C&O Greenbrier Branch fans, Ok, here's some for the brains trust: - On the Greenbrier branch (Ronceverte to Durbin, via Cass), was Brill railcar 9055 _typically_ shuttled back/forth (and therefore did some running "tail first"), OR Was 9055 _strictly_ turned at each end of its return-runs (IE 9055 _always_ ran "head/cab first")? - Was 9055 ever (however commonly or otherwise) run with a sister Brill coupled "tail to tail"? (IE run with "a cab at either end", thus avoiding any need to be turned?) - Given that photos show that 9055 faced in both directions at various times, she must have been turned, at least occasionally. Were there known turning-facilities (turntables or wyes) at Ronceverte and Durbin? Many thanks in advance, Happy modelling, Aim to Improve, Prof Klyzlr

Durbin

There was a wye at Durbin (completed in 1926) with the interchange with the Western Maryland.

Ronceverte

Forgot to mention, there was a turntable at Ronceverte as well.  As to the specifics of the rail car ops, The Durbin Route book should have more info and certainly the COHS can provide more details.
