I saw Thomas in April

I saw Thomas on a rainy day in April going down the highway in Ohio.  It must have been going to another location for a nice day out with Thomas. By the way the cab comes off to meet highway clearances.

Thomas

My wife and I took my nephew (a kid then but in his late teens now) to see Thomas at Chehalis, WA (the only time I understand they ever had such a visit). Even though it's just a Thomas-looking shell and I'm way too old to have seen the show as a kid (I'm getting dangerously close to 50 right now), even I thought it was pretty cool. I'm glad we went and it was a lot of fun.

I saw a "Thomas the kidnapee" on the back of a low boy truck a couple of years later just north of where I'd seen him before, the 'face' covered in a tarp.

thanks for the images

you captured the Borden's butter dish milk car.  I will use that for paint matching.

This how some kids get the urge

This is how the younger kids get introduced to the hobby,Thomas the Tank and Chuggington,

both british imports, and on the TV kid channels.

Thomas the Tank in O scale setups tends to attract all the kids at shows!

There are a few HO Scale modelers that will run Thomas at shows, and there is room to stuff a DCC decoder

in the cab,and use a Goods car to add sounds.
