Hi

I'm just getting started with the hobby , this Brawa-43920 caught my attention ...

https://www.brawa.de/en/products/h0/locomotives/electric-locomotives/traxx-electric-locomotive-br-1462-db-ag/#bestnrpreiseSprung

I have some questions regarding it .

1-Does it need any assembly ?

2-what are the compatible tracks and DCC command station with it , also do I need anything els ?

thanks

Welcome to Euro modelling

Usually German models are ready to run, but some details may be left for assembly by the purchaser. You can run it out of the box without these details though.

Compatible track: Any HO track except Märklin-type track (märklin uses a 3 rail setup that is not compatible). Code 100 track is usually better for European models, since those models usually have oversized wheel flanges. I have used PECO and Atlas code 100 track without issues.

Command station: Any DCC - NMRA compliant command station.

Daniel Kramer

Currently wondering what my next layout should be...

Code 83 works very well

I’m modeling a Norwegian based subject for more than 20 years and I started with Roco code 83 track and never had any issues. The oversized flanges can be found on some really old rolling stock but anything from the last 30 years will be ok.
