Here is the first run of my Operation Lifesaver units.  These GP15’s saw hard service and were do for a rebuilding.  Part of the rebuilt units got an OLS paint scheme to promote grade crossing awareness. After a shakedown period in Chicago, the trio heads northwest to Madison, Wisconsin for their first tour of duty. Here they are passing the Pillsbury plant in Aurora.  You can see more of my layout on Facebook.  https://m.facebook.com/Atlantic-and-Great-Western-Railway-112837688748316/

Love it!

I think it's great when layout owners make their layouts as realistic as possible, and that also means representing 'real world' things that a fictional railroad would likely deal with. OL is one of those things.

On top of that, OL is a great program and I'm certain it's saved many lives over the years with its outreach efforts.
