Yesterday on the way yes yard

Yesterday on the way yes yard had intermodal cranes and a turntable with roundhouse but could not get good photo with the fence.

Soo unit

Looks like an SD60 so rebuild, sale or scrap.  Both CN and CP have placed units in those three categories.

CEFX Lease unit

CEFX has a bunch of these in its lease pool. This is  why you see a black line painted through SOO. 

 

Just guessing since the trailing/leading locomotive is an NS unit I would suspect this is one of the many leased units running around NS right now. They got a pile of SD60 variants off CEFX including SD60Ms that are in service.

CEFX confirmed

That was a CEFX unit as confirmed by others in Chicagoland.
