I need help with a modeling project which I know is an old one. I have two Broadway Limited D&RGW C-16 which I would like to superdetail and bring them up to the same standard as the MMI C-19.

This means getting rid of the plastic moulded pipework and replacing fittings with castings and I remember seeing an article some while ago about doing just that. Does anyone have any knowledge of that article and point me in the right direction in finding it.

My problem is that I am not familiar with the fittings used on American Locomotives, so the PSC Catalogue is double dutch to me. I do have drawings of the prototypes about the era I wish to model so that is no problem.
