Fast "Watches"

Has any modified pocket watches into Fast Clocks? I am modling the early 1950s and would like the train crews to have their own pocket watches to keep track of time, since I am using TT&TO and would like either a 4:1 or 3:1 Fast Clock.
Thanks for any ideas.

If you want a set of Fast Watches you'll need to find a watch maker and break a few thousand piggy banks to pay for the regearing.
I have seen a number of 4inch square wind up clocks that have been regeared to run fast but it's better to just use a system where 10 to 15 min equal an hour.
In this years May/June issue of MRH Magazine is a free set of down loadable Fast Clocks by clicking on one of our sponsors (Dallas Model Works) it has a three some of fast clocks at (3-1) <> (4-1)<>and (6-1) free to use fast clock but as far as speeding up watches you will need to break out the check book.

Have everyone who has an iPhone download the "Fast Clock" ap - the face even looks like an old fashioned pocket watch that you "wind"" by rubbing your finger over the thumbwheel on the image of the watch.
