For a bit of fun, at a recent exhibition, I tried to pose some photographs on my Freshwater, Isle of Wight, layout to try to match some real photos of the actual location taken 70 or more years ago. They show some irregularities, and focal length differences, but the main difference is the position of the buffer stop in the horse box photo. It is positioned correctly according to the Ordnance Survey map, but does not match the photographic evidence.
