Some photos taken around the CY&P Riverdale sub layout this year are presented here.

Along the SOFCO siding we see an older Kadee Boston and Maine late 50s scheme PS-1 boxcar.  A couple of truck drivers are talking it up down the way.

CY&P 35

Baldwin DS 4-4-1000 35 is caught here in the Central District between moves.  This was my first big kitbashing project built in the early 90s, inspired by an article in the April 1984 issue of model Railroader.  This model depicts an eight cylinder 1000 horsepower  Baldwin switcher.  Using the Athearn S-12, it required lengthening the body and frame, Mashima motor and A-line flywheels, and NWSL wheels.

Tri-State Baking

Looking down from above the High Line into the West Linncott industrial district. Tri-State Baking is the large building on the left.   Tri-State was bashed from Walthers Red Wing milling kits.

Industrial YES !

Bob...photos 4 of the Midwest Terminal Warehouse and especially photo 7 of the West Linncott District are just excellent. I have always admired your WLD buildings and excellent track plan in that area. Makes me want to jump in and switch that area all day long. Thank you for sharing !

Thank you Michael!

Urban/industrial modeling is what I like.  Working with the details, building the structures, and setting the scenes is my aspect of the hobby.
