Nice looking locos.  I watched SOO Line trains, from a field on my grandpa's farm, in the 60's.  The set-up was mostly GP9's, or 7's,  and sometimes, a lone F7 would be in mix.

During the summer months I stayed there, with the bedroom windows open, I listened to them at night.

My very first HO loco was an Atlas SOO FP-7.  Probably had the thing for a whole year before my 7-year old hands destroyed it
