MTH - Adding DCC & Sound Locos and rolling stock

I'm thinking of purchasing an MTH GP35 without DCC or sound.  I know the installation of the DCC board is easy.  My question is how hard would it be to install sound in these MTH locos specifically?  Mind you, this is the first time I will be installing sound in any loco.

MTH Conversions

I have done six or so of these using an ESU Select and they are in essence not dissimilar to converting any other brand of locomotive or decoder. Here is a link to my MRH blog; scroll down to the MTH PA conversions.
