Added Tsunami sound to my brass Yellowstone

I've owned this older Akane DM&IR Yellowstone since 1986, 1st time i saw it i thought someone had painted it with flat black house paint using a 4"brush,never saw anything so sad in all my life and just new the poor thing needed me!
Its always been a good running machine and after stripping and repainting a real diamond had emerged.
Fast forward to 2010: Our club having deciding on DCC several years back it was time to either sell her or think about upgrading her....just could bring myself to sell the old girl so upgrade it was.
Decided then and there to go whole hog with a NWSL can motor and a Tsunami Tsu1000 heavy steam sound decoder.
So with out further adeu may I present.....Queen

Did you have the volume turned up for the video, so the camcorder could pick it up,
or do you regularly run it at that volume?

Great sound, and a beautiful locomotive. For a loco with the cab in back, the Yellowstone is my favorite.

Seem's the track crew had
Seem's the track crew had reballasted some track and missed a couple of spots when cleaning the railheads.
As to volume the programing track been quite busy have to wait my turn to refine further adjustments to CVs

looks like that switch at the end needs some track crew lovin' as well!
She sounds and looks great, nice work. I'm presuming you put in a capaciter? If not, it might take care of those few missed spots.

After fooling around with the
After fooling around with the CVs and volume control found the sound to be much more pleasing.
I will definitley need to add a larger capacitor to the decoder though but she sure sounds great to these old ears lol
