Stepper Drive Turn Table

I have installed two turntables using the 28BYJ-48 stepper motor and driver board driven by an Arduino Pro-Mini. These are indexed with the old MK1 Eyeball. The Arduino sketch uses the accellstepper library file found here: http://www.airspayce.com/mikem/arduino/AccelStepper/AccelStepper-1.53.zip

Cost is minimal.  The 28BYJ-48 Stepper motor can be found for under $2.00 and the Arduino Pro Mini also under $2.00.  These are post paid from China.  At those prices, order some spares.  Add a couple push buttons or a center off toggle for direction control. Add some male-male jumpers. Gears can be salvaged from old printers, or All Electronics usually has some gear sets. The stepper mptpr is aready geared at 1:64 for about 0.1 degree per half step.  If you are just starting with the Arduino Pro-Mini, remember to get the correct programming interface board.

Some good started information on the stepper and a starter sketch can be found at < http://42bots.com/tutorials/28byj-48-stepper-motor-with-uln2003-driver-and-arduino-uno/>

Total cost should be under $10.00.IMG_0245.jpg IMG_0239.jpg IMG_0246.jpg IMG_0251.jpg IMG_0247.jpg

Pictures

The pictures  are cut off in the forum display, you can fix that by editing your posts and setting the image display width to 750. Just right click on the image and select image properties then set the width to 750.

Do you have your sketch available anywhere?

Thanks,

Thanks

Thanks for adjusting the pictures, I forget about that right click view image trick.

No worries on the sketch whenever it is convenient.
