When i try to download a What-Neat zip file (from Feb 2017 onward) The downloader starts, but nothing ever downloads. I am logged on  and can start the download, but nothing happens. Is there a server issue at your end or should I try and download with somethnig other that Google?

What's Neat downloads

The What's Neat video bonus video file downloads from Feb 2017 on are the largest video files ever for What's Neat -- right around 1.5 GB in size, all of them. Depending on how well your internet connection works, that's a huge file for an HTTP download. We can download the files just fine in Google Chrome and other browsers when we test the download ourselves, so we doubt that is it. Your next step is to talk to your Internet Service Provider about having problems downloading ~1.5GB files over HTTP and see what they say.

Joe,   Thanks for the reply.

Joe,

Thanks for the reply. Wanted to be sure there was not an issue on your end. Up until the Feb issue I had no problems. I will check with my ISP since it took more than 6 minutes to download the August issue this morning. May also need to update my wireless router.

Consider a download manager

I've been using a download manager; Xtreme Download Manager.  It's a Sourceforge project, http://xdman.sourceforge.net/ .  Downloaded the August issue in about a minute and the high def "Wha'ts Neat" in about 6 (web downloader takes 3 or 4 times that).  An interrupted download can be restarted from where it left off rather than starting over.

Whats Neat- Intermountain Interview September 2017

Hello, firstly thanks for such an informative and entertaining column each month.  You said in the September 2017 issue quote'

3, 4. First we talk with Gene Fusco from InterMountain Railway Co.' But I could not find the interview.

Could you please direct me to it.  If I am missing the obvious my apologies.
