To All The Detroit & Milwaukee RR (formed in 1860) was a successor to the Detroit & Pontiac RR (one of the first railroads in Michigan). In 1878 the line was reorganized as the Detroit, Grand Haven & Milwaukee Rwy. and stretched from Detroit to Grand Haven, Michigan, for a total of 189 miles. In 1928 the line was consolidated into the Grand Trunk Western Rwy. This car is one in a series of pioneer Michigan short lines in the green "What If" paint scheme. I weathered the car with Bragdon Weathering Powders. Photo by Elvin Howland. Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout.
